The Challenge
Sunsynk was a rapidly growing international renewable-energy business operating across the UK, Europe, Africa, North America, Asia and Australia.
Its expanding product portfolio and international reach created an increasing demand for high-quality creative communications across multiple markets, audiences and channels.
Complex technical and commercial information needed to be translated into clear, engaging messages for installers, distributors, commercial partners and end customers.
At the same time, regional teams needed communications that reflected their individual markets while remaining recognisably part of one consistent global brand.
The range of required materials was extensive. Product launches, campaigns, websites, social media, email, exhibitions, presentations, brochures, sales tools, motion graphics and video all needed to communicate with the same confidence and clarity.
The challenge was therefore larger than producing individual pieces of design. Sunsynk needed a connected creative approach capable of supporting rapid international growth without allowing the brand to become fragmented.

The Idea
The creative approach centred on establishing one clear global story that could flex intelligently across products, audiences and international markets.
Rather than treating each campaign, launch or regional request as an isolated project, the work focused on building connected creative systems.
Strong master concepts established the central campaign message and visual direction. These could then be adapted into market-specific materials without losing the clarity or character of the original idea.
Complex product information was transformed into more accessible visual narratives, helping technical innovation become easier to understand and more relevant to the people using, specifying or selling the technology.
The approach combined strategic brand thinking with practical delivery—creating communications that could operate at an international level while still giving regional teams the flexibility they required.

The Work
Harvey led creative and communications activity across Sunsynk’s international markets, working closely with executive leadership, product, commercial, sales, technical and regional teams.
The work extended from initial briefing and concept development through messaging, art direction, design, production, approval and international rollout.
Integrated campaigns were developed for products, services and wider brand initiatives. Each campaign required a clear central idea supported by adaptable assets for digital, social, email, web, print, presentations and sales communications.
Product launches translated detailed technical information into confident and accessible creative stories. Visual hierarchies, campaign messaging and supporting content helped communicate not only what each product did, but why it mattered to its intended audience.
Websites and landing pages were developed and refined to improve the presentation of products, campaigns and international market information.

Digital and social content supported ongoing brand awareness, launches, events and regional commercial activity. Motion graphics and video added movement and explanation where static communications alone were not sufficient.
International exhibitions required complete creative environments. The work included exhibition graphics, signage, presentations, supporting literature, digital content and sales materials designed to create one coherent visitor experience.
Master assets, templates and repeatable campaign structures allowed regional teams to adapt communications more efficiently while preserving the central brand direction.
External agencies, printers, signage manufacturers, exhibition contractors and specialist suppliers were briefed and directed to ensure the quality and consistency of final production.
AI-assisted creative workflows were also introduced where they could strengthen exploration, accelerate production and improve efficiency—while retaining human creative judgement, control and final approval.
Throughout the role, the work balanced strategic leadership with direct creative delivery, ensuring that ideas remained strong from their earliest concept through to their final execution.

The Result
The work helped Sunsynk develop a more connected and consistent creative presence across its international markets.
Campaigns, launches and communications were brought together through clearer visual direction, stronger master materials and more adaptable creative systems.
Technical and commercial information became easier to understand, giving regional sales and marketing teams more confident tools with which to communicate products and opportunities.
Reusable templates, improved briefing and more structured approval processes supported faster delivery across a growing volume of international creative requirements.
The brand gained greater consistency across websites, digital channels, exhibitions, presentations, printed materials and market-specific communications, while retaining the flexibility necessary for different regions and audiences.
Most importantly, the creative approach provided Sunsynk with a scalable platform capable of supporting continued product development, international expansion and the increasing demands placed upon a rapidly growing global business.

Perspective
“Working inside Sunsynk provided the opportunity to apply everything I had learned from more than 25 years in design, brand development and creative leadership within a rapidly growing international business.
The challenge was not simply to create more materials. It was to connect products, campaigns, teams and markets so that every piece of communication felt part of one clear global story.
I am particularly proud of the way the work combined strategic thinking with hands-on creative delivery—turning complex technical information into accessible ideas while building systems that helped international teams work more consistently and effectively.
It was a demanding, fast-moving role that demonstrated the value of strong creative leadership within a global organisation.”
